Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has announced pricing for the refreshed 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander, the brand’s flagship SUV. With updated styling and refined engineering, the award-winning Outlander continues to deliver Mitsubishi’s signature blend of performance, comfort, and value. The starting MSRP is set at $29,645 for the front-wheel-drive ES model, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for affordability and quality.

Since its 2021 redesign, the Outlander has consistently broken U.S. sales records, and the 2025 model builds on that success with improvements in drivability, interior refinement, and technology. Notably, Mitsubishi has partnered with Yamaha® to develop an industry-leading in-car entertainment system, ensuring a premium audio experience.

“The new 2025 Outlander is bold, powerful, and stands out on the road while maintaining the value that customers expect from Mitsubishi Motors,” said Mark Chaffin, MMNA president and CEO. “With our industry-leading warranty, two years of included limited maintenance, and an exceptional dealer network, Outlander isn’t just a great value—it’s a great vehicle.”

Inside, higher-quality materials and additional soundproofing reduce road noise by more than 0.5dB and improve overall cabin quietness by nearly 6dB compared to the 2024 model. The interior has also been redesigned for greater functionality, featuring repositioned cupholders, a more accessible wireless charging area, and an expanded center console with additional storage.

Under the hood, the 2025 Outlander maintains its 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT featuring eight-speed sport mode. The power steering, suspension, and stabilizer bars have been recalibrated to deliver more precise handling and a smoother ride.

Mitsubishi continues to prioritize value and convenience, offering three-row seating for up to seven passengers as standard. Additional premium features include full LED lighting, a frameless auto-dimming mirror, a 12.3-inch navigation screen with HD Traffic Information, Yamaha® audio with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, USB-C power ports, multi-zone automatic climate control, and a full suite of driver-assistance and safety technologies.

Backed by one of the industry’s best warranties, every 2025 Mitsubishi vehicle includes a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty, a 7-year/100,000-mile anti-corrosion/perforation warranty, and 5 years of unlimited-mileage roadside assistance.

Meet the All-New 2027 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback EV

Mitsubishi Motors is preparing to enter a new era of electrified mobility with the all-new 2027 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback EV, a battery-electric subcompact SUV set to launch across North America in fall 2026. Following its global debut in June, Mitsubishi has announced additional details about the Eclipse Sportback EV’s charging capabilities, giving drivers a convenient and flexible approach to powering their next adventure. Every 2027 Eclipse Sportback EV will come standard with compatibility for SAE’s North American Charging System (NACS), providing access to the Supercharger network. With the ability to accept charging speeds of up to 150 kW, Level 3 DC fast charging can take the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes under appropriate conditions. Charging times and capacity can vary depending on factors such as the power source, ambient and battery temperature, battery condition and age, and the use of vehicle accessories while charging. The Eclipse Sportback EV will also feature a J1772 charging connection, supporting both Level 1 and Level 2 charging. That means owners can plug in at home or take advantage of compatible public charging options. The new Eclipse Sportback EV combines its electric powertrain with an athletic SUV-inspired design. Unique front and rear fascias echo styling cues from Mitsubishi Motors' global lineup, while distinctive lighting signatures and sporty alloy wheels give the vehicle a confident road presence. The iconic Triple Diamond emblem completes the look, connecting this forward-looking EV to Mitsubishi's heritage. The Eclipse Sportback EV represents another important milestone in Mitsubishi's Momentum 2030 business plan. The strategy includes electrification as one of its four key pillars, alongside a renewed and expanded product lineup, a modernized retail sales model, and a strengthened partnership with the Mitsubishi dealer network. The Eclipse Sportback won't be alone for long. Mitsubishi plans to follow its arrival with an all-new rugged, off-road derivative of the Outlander SUV in early 2027, continuing the brand's expansion into new segments and electrified mobility. More information about the 2027 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback EV will be announced in the coming months. Stay tuned to Heritage Mitsubishi for the latest updates as Mitsubishi's newest electric SUV gets ready to hit the road.

2027 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback

The Eclipse Is Back — and It's Electric

Mitsubishi has just pulled back the curtain on one of its most exciting reveals in years. The 2027 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback has been officially unveiled, and it marks a major milestone for the brand: a fully electric, sporty subcompact SUV that carries one of Mitsubishi's most iconic nameplates into a bold new era. The Eclipse Sportback EV is being developed in collaboration with Alliance partner Nissan Motor Co., building on the foundation of the next-generation Nissan LEAF while introducing unique Mitsubishi styling that sets it apart as its own vehicle entirely. Distinct front and rear fascias that echo the rest of Mitsubishi's global lineup, unique lighting signatures, striking alloy wheels, and the brand's iconic Triple Diamond badging all combine to give the Eclipse Sportback a look that is unmistakably Mitsubishi. While the Eclipse Sportback EV may feel like a new chapter, Mitsubishi's commitment to electric vehicles actually stretches back decades. The brand first began developing fully electric vehicles in Japan in the 1970s, and went on to produce the world's first mass-produced EV with the i-MiEV, which arrived in the U.S. in 2011. A year later, Mitsubishi introduced the Outlander PHEV, the world's first plug-in hybrid SUV, which came to North America in 2018. The Eclipse Sportback EV is the natural next step in that long and proud electrification journey. The Eclipse Sportback EV is also a key piece of Mitsubishi's Momentum 2030 business plan, which charts a course toward a fully electrified, modernized lineup through the end of the decade. The plan includes at least one new or significantly updated vehicle every year through fiscal-year 2030. Adding to the excitement, an all-new rugged off-road derivative of the Outlander SUV is expected to arrive in early 2027 as well, giving Mitsubishi fans even more to look forward to in the months ahead. The 2027 Eclipse Sportback EV is expected to reach North American dealerships in the second half of this year. Full technical details, pricing, and availability will be announced in the near future, and we will keep you updated every step of the way. Stay tuned to Heritage Mitsubishi for the latest news on the Eclipse Sportback EV and the rest of Mitsubishi's exciting lineup. We would love to help you be among the first to experience it when it arrives.
