With the ability to accept charging speeds of up to 150 kW, Level 3 DC fast charging can take the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes under appropriate conditions. Charging times and capacity can vary depending on factors such as the power source, ambient and battery temperature, battery condition and age, and the use of vehicle accessories while charging. The Eclipse Sportback EV will also feature a J1772 charging connection, supporting both Level 1 and Level 2 charging. That means owners can plug in at home or take advantage of compatible public charging options. The new Eclipse Sportback EV combines its electric powertrain with an athletic SUV-inspired design.
