The fun happens at the Atlanta Motor Speedway at 1500 Tara Place, around a 25-minute drive south via the US-19 and US Hwy 41, with the gates opening at 10 am and the racing proper beginning at 3 pm. Before the race excitement starts, take the opportunity to tour the car show with vehicles from all over the country. It will be a great chance to get close to classic and customized cars alike.
2023 Summer Fun Fest
If you want an event more attuned to younger children, then the 2023 Summer Fun Fest in McDonough on June 4 is an event that is going to appeal. The festival is organized with families in mind and will have many attractions, including a magic show, games, and art kits. In addition, there will be a soft play area and plenty of food stalls on hand to keep hunger at bay.

Camp Creek Soul Festival
For a more musically inspired activity, an afternoon and evening of soul music at the Camp Creek Soul Festival might appeal to you. The festival is taking place on May 27 and 28 at Princeton Lakes, which is situated at 3870 Redwine Rd, a short 30-minute drive north via the I-75.
The music starts at 2 pm each day and continues until 9 pm. In between the acts, you will be kept entertained by the comedian hosts, and at lunchtime, before the music begins, you can experience a special yoga segment to relax your body for the afternoon ahead. There are various food stalls on site to keep you fed and provide you with enough energy to dance all evening long.
