Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has announced its 2025 model year lineup, continuing its long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality, value-driven vehicles with cutting-edge technology in the U.S. The 2025 lineup introduces a refreshed Outlander, alongside updates to the Eclipse Cross, Outlander Sport, and Outlander Plug-in Hybrid, all aimed at enhancing comfort and connectivity.

2025 OUTLANDER

Following the success of the 2022 Outlander, the 2025 model receives a mid-cycle refresh that elevates both its interior and exterior. This new version features updated front and rear styling, coupled with enhanced luxury materials and design elements throughout the cabin. Pricing and additional details will be shared closer to its launch in the first quarter of 2025, but the three-row, seven-passenger SUV is set to continue its award-winning streak and impressive sales performance.

2025 OUTLANDER PLUG-IN HYBRID

As the world’s first and best-selling all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid SUV, the 2025 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid continues to set the standard in its class. New for this model year are standard front heated seats across all trims, with heated steering wheel and panoramic sunroof becoming standard on SEL trims. The vehicle also features My MITSUBISHI CONNECT, offering a Safeguard 5-year free trial and a Remote Services 12-month free trial. The Platinum Edition returns with a striking Black Diamond paint paired with an Alloy Silver roof, and the Black Edition is also available on the SEL trim. With a 20-kWh drive battery and Mitsubishi’s Super-All Wheel Control twin-motor 4WD system, the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid offers an EPA-rated 38 miles of all-electric range and a total driving range of 420 miles.

2025 ECLIPSE CROSS

The 2025 Eclipse Cross builds on the design enhancements of its predecessor, adding a standard Rear Seat Alert for all trims. The SE trim now includes an updated Black Edition, featuring a revised front lip and rear spoiler. Additionally, trims LE and up receive My MITSUBISHI CONNECT with a Safeguard 5-year free trial and a Remote Services 12-month free trial. Every Eclipse Cross comes equipped with Mitsubishi’s S-AWC all-wheel drive system, designed to perform in a variety of weather conditions and on different road surfaces.

2025 OUTLANDER SPORT

The Outlander Sport, one of MMNA’s top sellers, continues its tradition of offering great value and adventurous spirit in the 2025 model year. All trims come standard with Mitsubishi’s All-Wheel Control (AWC) system, ensuring readiness for any adventure. In a continued focus on safety, the 2025 Outlander Sport will include Rear Seat Alert as a standard feature, following its addition to October 2024 production models.

Pricing and full specifications for all 2025 models will be announced as their respective launch dates approach.

Since its relaunch in spring 2021, the completely redesigned Mitsubishi Outlander has captured the attention of both customers and the media, setting new sales records and earning accolades from top automotive publications. This modern iteration of the Outlander has drawn in a new wave of customers who might not have previously considered Mitsubishi, thanks to its striking design, extensive safety features, advanced driver-assistance systems, one of the industry’s best warranties, and exceptional value.

As the most well-equipped Mitsubishi ever offered in the U.S., the 2024 Outlander lineup continues to impress with a comprehensive suite of standard and available advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), designed to enhance driver confidence, convenience, and safety. Notably, the 2024 Outlander stands out in its segment by offering Rear Automatic Emergency Braking (Rear AEB) as a standard feature—a rare inclusion according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Together with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, these systems help drivers navigate tight parking spaces and reduce the risk of accidents when backing up.

“Every Mitsubishi vehicle is crafted with the safety of its occupants, pedestrians, and other road users in mind,” said Mark Chaffin, President and CEO of MMNA. “The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander exemplifies our brand’s commitment to safety, with a robust array of advanced driver assistance systems. From standard features like front and rear automatic emergency braking to optional enhancements like our motorsport-proven Super-All Wheel Control system, Mitsubishi Motors has you covered.”

Standard safety features across all trim levels of the 2024 Outlander include Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Lane Departure Warning and Prevention (LDW & LDP), Driver Attention Alert, Automatic High Beam (AHB), Hill Descent Control (HDC), and Trailer Stability Assist (TSA). Additionally, select models offer a Multiview Camera system for added visibility and safety.

Mitsubishi’s MI-PILOT Assist represents the pinnacle of the brand’s advanced driver assistance technology, integrating Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), and Traffic Sign Recognition to ensure optimal speed management, safe following distances, and lane-keeping support.

Overheating

Overheating is one of the most significant indicators that your Mitsubishi’s radiator needs to be serviced.
