In the 43-year history of the J.D. Power U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study, this year marks the first for Mitsubishi Motors to be ranked first in the mass-market segment. This customer satisfaction study done at new-vehicle service departments, shows Mitsubishi scoring fourteen points higher than the nearest rival – a thirty point improvement from last year for the growing brand.

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has been recognized for its ingenuity, durability and safety since it was announced. Last month, the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) was named SUV of the Year by Puros Autos in the publication’s “2023 Car of the Year with a Latin Flavor” awards. This marks the second year in a row for a Mitsubishi SUV being named by the publication, with the Outlander taking the award in 2022.

The winner of the Mattel Hot Wheels 2022 Kroger Mitsubishi Motors Sweepstakes has been chosen. This month, Mitsubishi awarded an all-new 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander to 83-year-old retiree Bob Saylor, a Mountain Home, Arkansa resident. This Outlander SUV will be his first new vehicle in thirty-seven years! We hope Saylor loves his new Outlander just as much as we do.

Team Mitsubishi Ralliart’s Triton recently participated in the Asia Cross Country Rally from November 21-26 in Thailand and Cambodia. With an overall distance of 1,524 kilometers, driver Rifat Sungkar (Indonesia) finished in fifth position, with 17 minutes and 14 seconds behind the leader. An incredible feat in a Group T1 prototype cross-country vehicle!

With the announcement of the all-new 2023 Outlander PHEV, the awards have begun rolling in before the first vehicle has even been delivered to a customer. In August 2021, during the continued fight against COVID-19, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) loaned a Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) to Middle Tennessee-based nonprofit organization Charis Health Center as part of MMNA’s Community Utility Vehicle (CUV) Program. Through this partnership, the 2020 Outlander PHEV racked up over 15,000 miles while distributing COVID-19 vaccinations, flue vaccinations, and more to nearly 3,000 people in underserved communities across middle Tennessee. Looking back today, Mitsubishi Motors and Charis remember those unprecedented times and the critical aid they were able to provide through their partnership.

The votes have been tallied and the results are in – Mitsubishi Motors has  placed second in rankings among mass-market automotive brands in the “2022 Automotive Reputation Report” from Reputation! This achievement is a culmination of a three-year rise from 17th among the mass-market automotive brands in 2020. In 2021, Mitsubishi was the most improved brand in the study, posting a 58-point year-over-year improvement.
